Standard definition videos are streamed at 640 by 480 resolution, High Definition streams are streamed at 960 by 540 resolution.

WMV is a Windows Media Format. It is playable in Windows Media Player, or a Windows Media device, like the Microsoft Zune.

iPod/MPEG4 (Quicktime) format is a standard MPEG4 file. It can be easily added to your iTunes library or played directly using an MPEG4 player like VLC. VLC is a free media player that is available on almost all known platforms and can be downloaded from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Unless you are a Microsoft junkie, we highly recommend the iPod (MPEG4 version) for its flexibility.

What is DRM, and why does Dixzar not use it?

DRM is a technology used to place restrictions on how/when/where content can be used. We do not like DRM because we feel it only hurts customers by restricting their use of content that they purchased.

We've encoded our content to provide the best playback experience no matter where you want to play it. Be it on your personal computer, your iPhone, your XBox360, or your Apple TV.

We realize there is a danger of customers being tempted to share these videos on public networks, we only ask you to please do not do this. We can only survive and grow Dixzar if we make money, so please do not upload or share our content.

Does the content contain DRM?

The scenes available for purchase from Dixzar are not DRM.d. You are free to copy the scenes to any device you own. We, of course, ask that you do not make our content available to anyone else by uploading it to any sharing service or making it available through any P2P service. We believe DRM places unfair restrictions on the consumer and ask in return that our customers treat our content with respect by not providing it to anyone who have not purchased it.

Can I watch my content on my TV?

Yes, however you need a device to help you display it there. We recommend the Apple TV, but there are many devices that will work. Look for a device that can play either MPEG4, or Windows Media content.
